There used to be a series of mixed-media watercolour Halifax panoramas on exhibit at the Nova Scotia museum. The artists were the “Daughters Downs”. Would have been the right time. Heard your interview on CBC this morning and caused me to wonder whether they might have been the daughters of Andrew Downs.
